990 out of 1000 packages will arrive at their destination without issue. We think that's an amazing statistic. Regardless, shipping during the holidays is nuts. Without studying and experiencing it, it's difficult to communicate the increased number of packages and strain placed on common carriers and trucking.
We got a new postage meter awhile back. It has about 30,000 packages on it. While we have seen packages delayed, we can't recall a package lost. We've seen packages go on a world tour prior to arriving at their destination 300 miles away. We've seen packages bounce back and forth between continents in a loop (like in Star Trek TNG S5E18 Cause and Effect) until they finally get spit out and successfully delivered.
